Some stuff from our friends

Most of you high rollers are probably well prepared for shopping this Black Friday. The biggest shopping day of the year. Get ready to defend yourself while plowing through the lanes and ripping the merchandises off the shelves while having 10 ladies trying to snatch that item off your hand. Well, this probably won’t be happening if you’re shopping online.

RPG Trader has announced their task force as well armed and prepared to handle all deliveries and requests for this chaotic day. They have even offered an exclusive 10% coupon off the entire store to welcome your patronage. Visit RPG Trader between November 27th to November 31st and enter in coupon code “Gobble” and get 10% off the entire store.

While I’m here, check out our friends blog over at WAR Tumeroks, they have just released their first webcomic. The illustration may be a bit poor but for a first timer, I’d say we can let them off the hook.

Some great gift ideas

The season is here again. Cold early nights and snow for the long holidays. Its nice to receive gifts but yet its also a headache having to think of what to give and who to give to as well as planning your budget. Other than gold, guides and games which is probably what I would offer to friends / guilds who plays World of Warcraft, it does get quite difficult to think of something for RL friends.

iPods would probably be a great gift for friends and family. I am leaning towards the iPod nano as the ultimate gift this year. It is light, comptact and decently affordable. I can probably buy a few of these in bulk and get a nice discount and maybe have them engraved as well. Many have said the bigger the gift the bigger the surprise but with technology these days, everything is being made smaller and smaller. I can see the nano as an ideal gift for almost everyone. Great for both genders and I’m sure everyones gotta listen to music once in a while.

Studies shows 65% of wow players also plays holdem

There has been many recent studies and documentaries done on similarities of World of Warcraft and Gambling addictions. Approximately 35% of all World of Warcraft players have gambled at an online casino or still currently are. From what studies show, the easiest way to take your addiction for one thing to by developing another addiction to something else. In our case, we all know there are many gambling addicts and yet also a whole lot of World of Warcraft addicts.

So what drives these players to such great addiction? My assumption would probably lead to winning, whether you’re winning World of Warcraft gold or real life money, either way its a win of monetary value and assets. The better game I would have to say is probably World of Warcraft. At least you get pleasure and entertainment out of it, although one may argue gambling with real cash will give you a much better thrill for your adrenaline.

Which would you say is more addicting? PvP / Arena or watching and waiting for your card to hit the number you’re looking for? In World of Warcraft, if you’re desired play isn’t at where its at you can hack and slash away your opponents. In Texas Hold em you have to eagerly wait and pray for that card in the river to make you rich. Both have high rewards, if you’re a high roller go with your flow to hold em and win some real cash. Either way, if you win some cash or gold, donate some over to us at wow gold guide.

China Gold Taxation and Wrath of the Lich King

We all know wrath of the lich king is set due in just a week and most of us are stacking on gold and monetizing all of our items to buy the newest stuff from the expansion. Are you preparing yourself or still hording all the items in your bag? Either way, some of the items may acquire higher value but some may lose alot as they will become replaced.

Recently china is looking to put out a taxation law on game gold being sold. A whooping 20%, quite insane wouldn’t you say? Imaging having to pay 20% more just for gold. That would really suck for most of us who purchases gold. How do you picture the release and tax law will impact the gold economy?
