We all know wrath of the lich king is set due in just a week and most of us are stacking on gold and monetizing all of our items to buy the newest stuff from the expansion. Are you preparing yourself or still hording all the items in your bag? Either way, some of the items may acquire higher value but some may lose alot as they will become replaced.

Recently china is looking to put out a taxation law on game gold being sold. A whooping 20%, quite insane wouldn’t you say? Imaging having to pay 20% more just for gold. That would really suck for most of us who purchases gold. How do you picture the release and tax law will impact the gold economy?

For a mage sunfury guide.

Mages in World of Warcraft is obviously one of the best and only “area of effect” classes besides a warlock. Both a fire mage and ice mage will work ok but a frost mage for sure will definitely shine over a fire mage in this step by step guide. A frost mage have much more survivability over the fire spec. Using this method, you should be able to average approximately 100 sunfury signets as well as possibly 5 arcane tomes. This itself should yield over 100 gold. More than likely you will also be receiving lots of rare items and recipes here as well.

To begin, your mage does not require to be greatly geared out but anything with over 400 bonus frost damage should do fine. Ideally you would want more, somewhere close to 700. Your mage should have these abilities in their talent tree in order to utilize this guide. The following are a must have; water elemental, ice barrier, ice floes, improved blizzard, and cold snap. There are also other spells that I highly suggest getting such as permafrost, ice shards, piercing ice, icy veins, shatter, improved cone of cold, arctic winds, shattered barrier, fingers of frost, improved water elemental and deep freeze.

Once you have the requirements set, make your way to Netherstorm  in Outland. It is one of the highest level zones in World of Warcraft as of the Burning Crusade expansion. This farming method is not only ideal to farming for gold but also for leveling your characters. With skill and practice, you can start farming with your mage at about level 67 to 68. Ideally 68 because of the “to hit code” that you will face at lower levels. This is a great way to level yourself, gather gold and build your faction with the Scryers. Once you arrive at the neutral town of Area 52, make your way a bit south and west until you reach Mana Forge B’naar.

There are about 3-5 camps of sunfury mobs that you can easily kill. To start, you should try small groups of maybe 3-5 for practice until you are more comfortable with the surrounding and the method you should use. Fully buff yourself up slap on an ice barrier then hop on your mount. Grab a small group of 5 with your mount and pull them onto a safe isolated spot where you can kill them with out interruption of your casting. Once you have them at your sweet spot, frost nova them down, blink away, bring out your pet if you need and start casting blizzard. Should they get close enough to hit you and your frost nova is not back up, use your pets. Freeze them again, rinse and repeat with blizzard, cone of cold or arcane explosion.

Once you get enough practice, you should be able to handle these mobs like a pro. You should be able to kill a group of 20 and up with no problem at all. Yes this does get very boring over time but it is still one of the fastest and most commonly used methods of Chinese World of Warcraft gold farmers and gamers. Keep in mind this WoW gold farming technique requires lots of repairs on your gears as you will be getting hit quite often.

World of warcraft, the most popular MMORPG to date, has just like any other fantasy based RPG its own currency exchange system. The currency exchange works in WOW(world of warcraft), with three sets of coins, copper coins, and with a hundred copper coins it will equal one silver coin, with a hundred silver coins it will equal one gold coin. Now gold in world of warcraft is what everybody needs to thrive, there is hardly any advancement without working your characters toon butt off earning tons of gold, almost sounds like real life.

The difference from earning money in the real world and earning a living in world of warcraft is that in WOW you can bash someone’s head in and steal his money you won’t be put on charges, and in the game you chose whatever field you chose to go into. Yes in the game of world of warcraft you can pick and chose what job you’d like your avatar to specialize in and that is where a lot of the big cash comes in.

There are ten primary professions you can have alchemy, blacksmithing, enchanting, engineering, herbalism, mining, leatherworking, skinning, and tailoring. Now some of these professions go together with others such as mining and blacksmithing, you’ll need the metal the mining gives you to blacksmith with into weapons and armor.

There are three secondary professions which are first aid, cooking and fishing. You can learn all three of the secondary professions but only two of the primaries so chose wisely. You will gain lots of coin selling your special talents you pick, to others, not venders mind you, there are general prices that venders buy items off of you for, and the price the venders buy the items from you for is much lower then what you can get for them if you sell the items on your own to other players.

The more you use your profession the better you will become at it and the more specialized you will become to it. You can get so high that people will seek certain items only you and those of your level will be able to create for them, at this point you can name your price. Alternatively if you want to skip the whole having a profession thing then in my opinion you’re only other shot is questing. Taking adventure after adventure selling the spoils and keeping all the loot you find off of everyone you beat, the old fashion way. While the later might sound like a better road to travel since having a profession is just like real life, consider that fact that without that profession you might just end up a poor troll or sad Paladin in the world of WoW.

One of the best fishing poles in World of Warcraft is the Big Iron Fishing Pole. Anyone who wants to max out their fishing ability is going to need it at one point.

It only comes from one place and that is inside the cage traps on the ocean floor near the Horde town on the West coast of Desolace. If you head out near the town there (the area is green and grassy unlike the rest of Desolace) and go into the water directly west of the dock and swim down you will find traps littering the ocean ground there. When you open them you will either find shellfish, spawn a mob, or…get this rare fishing pole.

I was able to find 2 of these in a fair amount of time and guess what? They sell on my AH for over 25 gold! A map will be included within the next update.

To start gathering Ghost Mushrooms in World of Warcraft you will need to have the herbalist skills. Your Herbalism level should be around level 245. Ghost Mushrooms are located in a little cave called Hinterlands. This guide can be used by both Alliance and Horde characters. You can easily gather about 10-25 gold per hour. Your character should be at least level 44, the higher the better however. The mobs in the cave are level 46-48.

Hunting Grounds:
Simply put, SKULL ROCK, in the Hinterlands. Consult the provided map below in order to get to Skull Rock. Note that the entrance to the cave is on the north side, and faces the river… even though the map makes it seem like the cave opens to the south.

Get to at least level 5 and learn the herbalism profession. Already we know that Herbalism is a very money ridden profession, and with that, comes the idea that with just a little effort, you can be rich with only a few hours work. This works the best if you are the Undead race, but also will work as Human, or Tauren. Like stated before, be sure to pick up the herbalism profession (and for added bonus, go with mining).

Now if you do go with herbalism, stick with Find Herbs most of the time, as the herb we are looking for sells more then copper at the lower levels. From this point we are now going to travel outside of the newbie area, and into the real world in search of, yes, you guessed it, silverleaf. Silverleaf is EXTREMELY abundant in the early and second areas of the game, but even more abundant in the Undead and Human areas.

Why this is I’m not sure, but after farming only one stack of silverleaf, you can sell it on the Auction House for as much as 1gold 25silver. Yes, for only at most 10 minutes work, 1g 25s for a level 10. Too good to be true? Well, the lowest I’ve seen silverleaf go for is 85s, so still even then, at that level anything over 20s is a lot, believe me, I know. You don’t even need a map for this, as with the “Find Herbs” trait you can easily find those abundant silverleaf no matter where you are. All but some servers may have a more crippled economy in the lines of silverleaf, give it a few days and watch the price skyrocket.
