Most guides written are for higher level players, but here’s a neat way for lower level characters to make some easy gold. I personally make around 25-30 gold per day with this little method.

Many players love to collect ‘vanity’ pets. They’re those cute little beast that follow your character around. I know I love my own little pets. They don’t fight. They don’t agro. They just look cute and they’re nice to have.

I noticed that quite a few players would ask where I got them from. Everyone seems to want one and not everyone knows where to get them. If you do know where to get them, put them up for sale in your nearest Auction House. They sell very quickly at a very nice mark up price.

While it’s possible to buy quite a lot of pets, some are quest rewards and others are dropped by mobs around the place. This guide deals only with pets you can buy from vendors.

Before you buy any pet to sell, check if it’s “Bind on Pickup” or “Bind on Use”. If the pet you want to buy is “Bind on Pickup”, then you won’t be able to sell it at the Auction House. Try to choose pets that are “Bind on Use”. Don’t summon them! Once you summon the pet, it can’t be sold at the AH.

White Kitten (alliance)
The white kitten is sold by Li’l Timmy. He’s a rare spawn who wanders around the canals by Cathedral Square in Stormwind City. Buy your White Kittens for 60s.

Silver Tabby (alliance)
This cute little grey tabby cat with black stripes is just adorable. Sold by Donni Anthania from her cottage, found between Northshire Abbey and Stormwind in Elwynn Forest for 40s

Siamese Cat (neutral)
Off-white little cat with black markings and blue eyes, this cat is sold by Dealer Rashaad in the Stormspire for 60s

Orange Tabby (alliance)
Little orange striped cat sold by Donni Anthania from her cottage, found between Northshire Abbey and Stormwind in Elwynn Forest for 40s

Bombay (alliance)

Snowshoe Rabbit (alliance)
White rabbit with cute brown markings. You can by these from Yarlyn Amberstill, a little girl running around Amberstill Ranch in Dun Morogh for 20s

Black King Snake (horde)
Black snake. Sold by Xan’tish in Orgrimmar for 50s

Brown Snake (horde)
Brownish/green snake with black stripes. Sold by Xan’tish in Orgrimmar for 50s

Crimson Snake (netural)
Red Snake. Sold by Xan’tish in Orgrimmar for 50s or you can get it from Dealer Rashaad in The Stormspire for 40s

Prairie Dog (horde)
Little brown gopher-like rodent. Sold by Halpa in Thunder Bluff. Halpa can be hard to find. In Thunder Bluff, find the spiral totem. Go behind the building where the bridge to Hunter Rise is. Find a path up the cliff to the left. At the top you’ll find a tent. Halpa should be behind this. This pet is the smallest in the game.

Great Horned Owl (alliance)

Mana Wyrmling (neutral)
Dark green flying wyrm with blue/aqua fins. Sold by Dealer Rashaad in the Stormspire for 40g. This one is very rare due to its price.
